Nelson Street

The Nelson Street project in Belfast is a student residential development near Queen’s University and Ulster University, offering modern living spaces and amenities. Alumasc Roofing provided a comprehensive roofing solution, integrating a blue roof system to manage stormwater and meet Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) targets. Challenges included accommodating landscaping, achieving insulation and fire classification standards, and managing logistics in a city-center location. Alumasc’s Derbigum BluRoof system, backed by a single-source warranty, ensured durability and flood control.
