Caltech Metcoat Resin is a cold-applied acrylic polyurethane membrane designed for the refurbishment of weathered but mechanically sound metal roofs and wall cladding. The system can be specified for complete waterproofing, with side laps, end laps, fixings and roof details treated and reinforced as required. Alternatively, it may be used for aesthetic enhancement or the targeted treatment of cut-edge corrosion, providing localised protection without the need for full roof overcoating.
Caltech Metcoat cures to form a seamless, fully bonded membrane that provides durable, long-term waterproofing, enhancing the appearance of the substrate while avoiding the cost, disruption, and environmental impact associated with replacement. The liquid-applied formulation can be applied by roller or airless spray, with coating application tailored to achieve the required performance level and warranty term.
