Caltech UV Resin is a reinforced, cold-applied polyurethane liquid membrane designed for exposed roofing applications. Installed using a multi-coat application process with embedded glass fibre reinforcement, the system is supplied ready for use, eliminating the need for on-site mixing and promoting a fast, efficient and consistent installation process. The system is primarily designed for warm roof constructions and refurbishment overlay applications.
It is supported by a comprehensive portfolio of compatible system components, including substrate-specific primers, air and vapour control layers (AVCLs), thermal insulation, and associated ancillary products, enabling the system to be incorporated into complete waterproofing specifications.
Caltech UV is a single-component, moisture-cured membrane that cures to form a seamless, fully bonded waterproofing membrane, providing long-term protection against water ingress. The liquid-applied formulation can be applied by roller or brush, providing flexibility during installation and allowing effective treatment of both main roof areas and intricate details. The cold-applied process eliminates the requirement for hot works, helping to simplify site operations and reduce associated installation risks.
