On 18th September 2025, we were delighted to be one of just seven supply chain partners selected to take part in the North West Responsible Business Charter pilot.
This exciting 12-month initiative has been organised by our construction colleagues Morgan Sindall, and encourages us all to rethink how we deliver social value across our region. Rather than simply meeting broad national targets, the selected companies will work together to develop meaningful, local action plans that respond to the specific needs of our local communities.
For Alumasc Roofing, that means taking a closer look at how we can make a lasting difference. From helping to tackle skills shortages and creating more inclusive recruitment opportunities, to supporting better pathways into the construction industry, we want to create processes that focus on real, long-term impact.
One of the things we like most about the Charter, is the opportunity to collaborate. By working alongside Morgan Sindall and six other regional businesses, we can share ideas, learn from one another and challenge ourselves to think differently about the way we deliver social value. It’s not about doing for doing’s sake, it’s about doing the right things, in the right places, to create genuine benefits for local people.
During the pilot, alongside our partners, we have been developing and implementing our own action plan, which we hope will contribute to a new overall model that could eventually be rolled out more widely.
We are proud to be working with Morgan Sindall and our fellow partners to create lasting change, and are looking forward to helping shape a new approach that could strengthen communities, support future talent and leave a positive legacy across the North West.
