Alumasc’s Derbigum Olivine mineral roofing membrane has recently been used in the refurbishment of the library at the University of Nottingham’s Clifton Campus. M & J Roofing installed 1000m2  of Derbigum Olivine mineral during the project after it was identified as the most appropriate waterproofing solution in the replacement of the library’s roof, offering added environmental benefits. The full redesign of the existing falls also included Alumasc’s Fascia system, Rooflights, Harmer Roof Outlets, and ensured adequate drainage could be achieved on the new roof. This involved additional insulation being laid to the falls of the internal water outlets - which in turn meant that Alumasc aluminium polyester powder coated fascia board was also required to cover the increased height. This was supplied in a colour to match the new window installations.
